What is the best way to schedule an appointment?

I am easily reached by phone or email. With the exceptions of weekends and holidays, I typically respond to voicemail and email within 24 hours.

What can I expect in our initial session?

The initial session will include an evaluation of your needs. We will discuss your presenting concerns and what you would like to accomplish in therapy. I will likely ask questions about previous life experiences and relationships. I will make time for you to ask questions about my practice. From there, we can decide together if we would like to schedule a second session.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, I accept BlueCross BlueShield. In addition, many other insurance plans do offer coverage for out-of-network providers. Contact your insurance provider for information. I assist with claim reimbursement by providing you with a receipt of service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, and all major credit cards.

What if I need medication?

Medication can help supplement the work we do in sessions. It is important to speak to your medical provider about what types of medication might work best for you.
