I am currently a Professor of Mathematics at William Jewell College in Liberty, MO, just outside of Kansas City. I received my PhD in algebra from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2011. Since 2015, my research has focused on mathematical political science. 

In my daily work, I teach a variety of undergraduate math courses and I study the mathematics of voting and representation.

I am also happy to do mathematical consulting work. I have extensive experience writing and editing in topics such as algebra, calculus, statistics, etc. In addition, I do consulting work in the election and representation space.
