With resort properties in California and Hawaii who was looking for help in launching new website and email marketing platforms in addition to digital marketing support. The company had gone through a marketing leadership change and was working on filling the VP or Marketing and Sales function. I joined to assist in launching and helping the property marketing directors to learn and leverage the new Website Content Management System (Concrete 5) and new Email marketing system (Cendyn).

    • Led digital marketing: CRM, Loyalty Marketing, and Email Marketing for Meritage Collection Brand and marketing consultant for resort properties including the launch of a new website and email marketing platform
    • Launched and managed the Meritage Collection email marketing platform and strategy generating an incremental $500k in booking revenue.
    • Led on all privacy compliance matters for the resort business, guiding the corporate strategy with regards to GDPR and CCPA to minimize liability?
    • Renegotiated and energized the Collections loyalty marketing program reducing costs by 10% and increasing revenue nearly 100% through collaboration with the properties.

Digital Marketing and Direct Response Director

I am responsible for marketing and execution within the Loyalty, Email Marketing, Website Operations, Digital Marketing, SEO, SEM, Social Media, App Marketing, Analytics and Data Platform Integration areas. In 2015 I completed a triage of BJ’s existing website substantially increasing the results generated from digital channels. In 2016 I rebuilt the digital foundation incorporating a database driven approach for menu items on top of a responsive digital platform that incorporated a locally based content strategy driving further SEO benefits. Additionally in 2016 I lead loyalty and e-mail marketing tactics which resulted in increasing member signups and revenue by 20%. I currently lead a data integration project that automates menu data between all digital channels (Web and App) and is positioned to integrate with printed channels as well further automating the updates and alignment around menu updates.

  • Increased frequency and spend from loyalty channels while simultaneously decreasing incremental liability associated with loyalty points.

Responsibilities included; email marketing, social media, website development, performance measurement and optimization of digital properties. I led the creation and development of the Canadian digital channels and the customer communication channels.

  • Established the digital presence of Hyundai Capital in Canada across social media, email, websites, and B2B Portals for Kia Motor Finance and Hyundai Motor Finance in Canada.
  • Assisted in the re-engineering of website digital analytics for the US website incorporating voice of the customer systems and an audit of and reengineering of Adobe Analytics and utilization of Tealeaf

Responsible for the Development of all Global Digital Marketing Channels across 4 continents, 5 distributors and 80 retail outlets.

  • Led global digital marketing: (Social Media, Email Marketing, Website Development, SEO, SEM, Email and Direct Mail Marketing, Lead Generation and Customer Acquisition Marketing) across North America and Europe. Rebuilt the global website with Multilanguage capabilities (French, Spanish, English, Chinese, and Arabic) on a responsive HTML5 platform.

Directed Mazda’s North American Digital Operations. Responsible for Mazda USA website, search engine marketing, sales opportunity aggregation, and management.

  • Redesigned and Integrated Mazda’s websites and microsites into a single cohesive platform with strategies across; national, regional and local levels which resulted in being recognized as a top placement of all OEM websites as evaluated by J.D.Power and Associates.
  • Increased digital sales opportunities 15% through the optimization of digital acquisition channels.
  • Implemented a demand projection model based upon historical media spends, traffic, leads and sales with which to forecast the results from activity.
