Davide Bisi

Davide Bisi is currently engaged in doctoral studies in Economics & Management of Innovation and Sustainability (EMIS) at the University of Parma.

Graduating with honors in Economics and Business Legislation from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, his research has always been deeply intertwined with the dynamics of innovation and the labor market. Davide's current research delves into the complex relationship between labor market institutions and technological advancements, particularly examining how these dynamics affect workforce vulnerabilities and organizational hierarchies. He is interested in the role of unions in counterbalancing the impacts of technological advancements, ensuring equitable distribution of "technological dividends", and aligning technological integration with workers' interests. This includes exploring how union-mediated profit-sharing schemes affect both the technological development of firms and their workforce, with a focus on promoting equitable profit distribution, fostering an innovation culture, and enhancing worker skills amidst rising automation. His work extends to studying the political economy perspective of these interactions, evaluating labor market reforms, analyzing inequalities and labor market polarization, and exploring social mobility.
