As a child, I had such wonderful experiences in education. So much so, that I knew from the moment in first grade when my teacher encouraged my love for reading, that teaching was my mission. I attended schools in North East and graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. In December of 2006, I received my degree in Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

This publication explores how to inspire teachers to find the joy in math so they can help their students do the same. Through a variety of tools, techniques, and helpful hints, the resource illustrates what high quality math instruction looks like and how teachers can reframe their own thinking about math to create deeper learning opportunities for their students.

Hello! I am Mr. Touchstone. I am a SCD teacher at Gulfport High School. I recieved my associate's degree from MGCCC. I recieved my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. I recieved my masters in special education from William Carey and am currently working on my National Board Certification. I am a proud admiral and look forward to a great year!

Maria is an immigrant from Mexico who learned English in public schools in Texas. She is also a student from poverty that was able to escape poverty because of education. She taught for over 30 years and is also an advocate for immigrant rights who provides professional development for teachers working with students from poverty.

Fourteen years ago, before becoming an English teacher, Katie worked at Touchstone as a supervisor in the residential program, and actually met her future husband while working on the Litchfield campus.

Touchstone Preschool Tigard in Portland is committed to providing quality education and care to children in the Westlake, Walluga, Lake Grove, and Far Southwest communities. Our NAEYC-accredited preschool uses the Links to Learning curriculum, which prepares children for elementary school and beyond by developing important academic, social, and emotional skills. Tri-County Electric Cooperative is once again coordinating a grant program with Touchstone Energy for our local, private, and public kindergarten through 12th-grade teachers and administrators! A total of eight grants of $500 each will be provided for innovative, unfunded projects or materials. Qualifying projects are those which improve the learning environment or increase educational resources for the school.

Kindergarten through 12th-grade administrators or teachers must submit a grant application with information about the project, the school, and the applicant. An impartial panel of judges will determine which projects will be awarded the eight grants of five hundred dollars each.

We have been fortunate enough to have Josephine come to our schools every year for the past several years and do workshops with our teachers and students. I would say she has been coming for the past 10 or so years. SHe is wonderful. So glad you loved her book. She is a fabulous author and she is just as fabulous in person too!
