UK Share of Vote (2017)

First-past-the-post constituency maps leave over half our votes feeling uncounted, so I made some national and regional maps showing "share of vote" instead. The map style is inspired by these German electoral maps from Zeit Online.
I'd been wanting to recreate them for a while but had no excuse until Boris Johnson called an election.
The final interactive version got picked for Tableau "Viz of the Day" - a great honour. Probably just lucky timing on my part :-)
