The ONS has released an interesting compilation of surveys: Social capital in the UK

It tracks British attitudes and habits on a range of issues over the last decade: How we socialise, how involved we feel in our communities, our trust in government, do we feel safe walking home after dark?

It's a fascinating dataset particularly when metrics are paired for comparison. These statistics on socialising caught my eye...

I post it here for no other reason than it deserves some attention. For anyone doing some attitudinal analysis these are useful comparitive numbers.

The viz is a slope chart, a good choice when you want to highlight a change in ranking.
