This CSP contains ADMX-backed policies which require a special SyncML format to enable or disable. You must specify the data type in the SyncML as chr. For details, see Understanding ADMX-backed policies.

This policy setting defines the identifier used to uniquely associate this device's diagnostic data data as belonging to a given organization. If your organization is participating in a program that requires this device to be identified as belonging to your organization then use this setting to provide that identification. The value for this setting will be provided by Microsoft as part of the onboarding process for the program.

Starting with the January 2023 preview cumulative update, this policy is no longer supported to configure the processor option. For more information, see Enable Windows diagnostic data processor configuration.

NOTE: The content of this article is only useful if you use ADMX file versions released before 21/07/23.

All the issues between the different ADMX versions mentioned in this blog have been fixed as of 21/07/23. You can now use the new Windows 11 ADMX files (download from Microsoft Download Center) to maintain Windows 11 and Windows 10 clients.

Also note that DataCollection.ADMX is a special case. See here ADMX DataCollection Policy CSP, here Changes to Windows diagnostic data collection and the blue box below for further information.

Ive got a lab environment here at my house and the clients are all Win10 machines. I wanted to disable telemetry so i went to go do it in a GPO and see its not there. I downloaded the latest win10 admx files. I copied the data collection admx file into my central store along with the adml file. It still doesn't show up in the GPMC. Before i created the central store i just copied it into c:\windows\PolicyDefinitions on the DC and it wouldn't show up there either. It's my understanding just copying the files over should make them show up. My DC is 2012 R2. Any suggestions?

Let me start off by saying that I am new to Citrix/XA administration. That said I have worked with our recently retired Citrix admin on group policy settings and various other things as it related to GPO. Here is my problem. When the environment was deployed, the "collection" server was being used for managing the Citrix policies, for some of the policy settings, that is the only server where the policy settings can be viewed. I even started a new empty policy on the DC that does have "Citrix Policies" as an option, but when I attempt to recreate the policy settings the "Profile" settings are not prestent. There are some other settings for load balancing, but many of the profile-type settings are not present. I have a number of the ADMX files on the DCs, but apparently something is missing. We've moved the XA infrastucture to the cloud, so we no longer have a need for the data collector server (where all policy settings are visible) so I'd like to get rid of it, but currently, it's the only place I can see all of the Citrix policy settings. I'm guessing I'm missing an ADMX file or need a new one, but I really don't know. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Network latency is the time a data packet takes to get from the source NIC to the destination NIC and back. Network latency contributes to ICA RTT, but ICA RTT is also affected by other factors such as application performance, system performance, printing activity, media rendering, and large file redirection.

Sometimes Windows system displays error messages regarding corrupted or missing DataCollection.admx files. Situations like that can occur, for example, during a software installation process. Each software program requires certain resources, libraries, and source data to work properly. Corrupted or nonexistent DataCollection.admx file can therefore effect in failed execution of the started process.

As shown above, this error is telling us that the equivalent area name from categories should be limited to 255 characters (Max registry key length). When receiving the above error, you will also notice another error popping up mentioning that the data area passed to a system call is too small.

The above mentioned data are consistent with the notion that IAA binding causes an alteration of AdmX that in turn modulates its effect on RNA polymerase activity. A series of experiments were conducted to verify the existence of such conformational changes. First, the hydrodynamic radius obtained in dynamic light scattering experiments indicated that AdmX is present in a higher order oligomeric state and that the addition of IAA and IPA resulted in an increase in the compactness of AdmX (Supplementary Figure S12A). Second, analyses by ATR-FTIR and near-UV circular dichroism spectroscopy revealed that IAA and IPA binding caused significant changes to the AdmX secondary structure (Supplementary Figure S12b,c; Supplementary Table S5). Furthermore, these data are consistent with limited proteolysis studies revealing structural changes upon ligand binding (Supplementary Figure S13).

For optimum performance, users connecting to Citrix in a particular datacenter should retrieve their roaming profiles from a file server in the same datacenter. If you have Citrix in multiple datacenters, then you will need file servers in each datacenter.

Any help is appreciated

I am getting complaints about sluggishness especially in the morning at logon and for a bit thereafter and have discovered the OST files are downloading to the users local appdata folder on the VDA. The sluggishness makes sense to me in this scenario for the IOPS, CPU and Network traffic during the peak logon times are very busy. I thought the OST was not to load locally, am I wrong? Do i have something configured wrong ?

But for Homepage Location, we need to set the actual homepage location. In this case is followed by a data id. The data id is found again in the ADMX file, in below example the text id, HomepageLocation.

And as last we need to set a value, the valuename. This is the homepagelocation (which needs to start with http/https, information which you can fine when running GPeditor). 006ab0faaa
