Welcome!

I am currently pursuing PhD in IIT Kharagpur (joined PhD in July 2019 as a PMRF research fellow) and working under the supervision of Prof. Sumantra Mandal (Associate Professor, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department, IIT Kharagpur). My PhD work is concerned with the broad research area: "Development  of Biodegradable Mg-based alloys with controlled degradation rate for biomedical applications". 

Before joining PhD, I have completed my M.Tech from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department (Specialization: Corrosion Science and Technology), IIT Bombay, in 2019. I did my M.Tech project work under the supervision of Prof. V.S. Raja (Professor, Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science Department, IIT Bombay). Prior to that, I have done Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) from IIEST Shibpur in Metallurgical Engineering (completed B.E. in 2017). 

My research interests include : Alloy designing and alloy development, in-depth analysis of corrosion and electrochemical properties of materials, Microstructural Engineering.
