Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I record my darbuka performance?
Open Darbuka Beat and tap Play.
Tap the Rec button in the control panel to start recording.
Play your darbuka and tap Stop when you're finished.
Your performance will be saved locally on your device.
You can access your saved performances from the Recordings section to play them back and manage your recordings.
2. How do I add a backing track?
You can play along with your favorite music using the backing track feature.
Open Play and tap Backing (🎵).
Select an audio file from your device.
Start playing your darbuka along with the selected track.
Supported audio formats depend on your device and operating system.
3. Does Darbuka Beat require microphone access?
Darbuka Beat records your musical performances as note events rather than capturing audio through your device's microphone.
Microphone permission is not required to record your darbuka performances.
4. Why am I seeing test advertisements?
Test advertisements may appear in development or pre-release versions of Darbuka Beat.
The official version uses advertisements configured for production. If you encounter a test advertisement in the published app, please contact us.
5. How do I manage personalized advertisements?
You can manage advertising preferences through your device's privacy settings.
On iPhone or iPad:
Open your device's Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Adjust tracking permissions for Darbuka Beat, if available.
On Android:
Open your device's Settings.
Navigate to Privacy → Ads or Google → All services → Ads, depending on your device.
Manage your advertising ID and available advertising privacy settings.
Disabling personalized advertising does not necessarily remove advertisements from the app.
6. How do I delete my recordings or reset the app?
Darbuka Beat stores your recordings, imported audio files, and custom settings locally on your device.
You can manage saved performances through the Recordings section.
To reset the app completely, you can uninstall and reinstall it. However, this may permanently delete locally stored recordings, imported files, and settings.
Important: Back up any recordings or files you wish to keep before uninstalling the app.
7. What should I do if the app crashes or stops responding?
If you experience technical difficulties, try the following:
Close and reopen Darbuka Beat.
Restart your device.

Make sure your device has sufficient available storage.
If the problem continues, please contact our support team.
