Why didn't Allah give me what I asked for?

The doctor does not give us the medicine we want, but he gives us the medicine we need!

Perhaps you ask from Allah what is harmful to you!

You look at things with your limited human perspective, and Allah arranges things with His complete knowledge!

Indeed, when a little boy sees colorful pills, he cries for them, and his parents prevent him from taking them. The child thinks he is being deprived, while the parents know that some prevention is a form of giving!

This is how Allah arranges things with His mercy, so be disciplined!

Or perhaps Allah wanted to give you what you asked for, but the time has not yet come. Timing is part of His wisdom, which you do not see!

Read the saying of your Lord: "And when he reached his full strength and was [mentally] mature, We gave him judgment and knowledge."

There are things that you need to mature in order to preserve them if you are given them!

If Allah had relieved Joseph, peace be upon him from the beginning, he would not have reached the throne, Joseph was still imprisoned. However, the Almighty's hand was there to arrange things and prepare the circumstances for great blessings.

Moses, peace be upon him, spent ten years in Madyan, which were not wasted, as conditions in Egypt needed to be prepared for his arrival, and he also needed to be polished, as the heavy burden was to come later. Delay is a polishing and preparation!

The Muslims wanted to brandish their swords in Makkah and defend themselves from injustice, but permission to fight was delayed until after the noble migration! The one who supported them after the migration was capable of supporting them in the heart of Makkah before that, but Allah wanted to nurture them first, because a sword without belief quickly goes astray. Your Lord wanted the swords to be wielded in exaltation of His word, not for revenge against the enemy, nor for victory of the self!

There is a lesson in their stories, so contemplate and consider! If you are absolutely prevented, it is mercy; if you are given, it is wisdom; and if the blessing is delayed, it is not its time!
