I came across this video, and it caught my attention because it talks about something that I mentioned in class a while ago (in my young students class), but from a tech reviewer point of view, a lot of my students thought that I was exaggerating after talking about the effect of this new (digital type of addiction), and I can't blame them for that (because these things in addition to Music and Netflix .. etc., were promoted to the extent of it being the new norm now), this video explains the method used by the developers to design these video games to scam the players, let alone the other effects (mentally, psychologically and socially) to the extent of it considered as a disorder recently, we as Muslims should not fall in such obvious trap.
