I am an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Actuarial Science at The American University in Cairo. I earned my PhD from the University of Leeds under the supervision of Professor Dugald Macpherson. I work in the field of mathematical logic, in particular, in the research area of model theory. I am interested in homogeneous structures and their automorphism groups, and the interactions with  group theory and graph theory.
