I am a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at Iowa State University and am on the 2025–26 academic job market. My primary research interests are in empirical asset pricing, with a focus on institutional investors and the development of their portfolio and trading strategies. My research primarily examines the dynamic behavior of mutual funds, including how managers adjust trading strategies across different macroeconomic conditions, how active trading amplifies fund mispricing effects, and the decreasing returns to scale in the mutual fund industry. One of my papers is currently Revise & Resubmit at the Journal of Financial Research.
Before coming to Iowa State University, I received a Master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from University College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from Hunan University.
