Season of Mists

…and mellow fruitfulness. Autumn is a magical season and Keats’ poem evokes its spell better than I could hope to.

Bonfires, piles of dead leaves, a mist that hangs all day, a watery sun, seeing your breath, wrapping up in hat, gloves and scarf (you were in T-shirt and shorts a month ago!) – that’s what I’m trying to conjure up here.

And the majestic stag materialising out of the drifting smoke? Well I said it was magical.
