Medium: Acrylic painting on canvas.

Materials: Acrylic colours on Loxley 12 ounce (420 gsm) 100% linen canvas, bound to an MDF (medium density fibreboard) support.

Protected with three coats of acrylic varnish. Framed in a polished silver, solid aluminium moulding.

Size including Frame: 62 cm x 86.5 cm (24.5" x 34"). All measurements approximate.

Signature: Hand signed by the artist, both front (monogram) and back (full signature), with year of completion (2017).

Certificate of Authenticity: A signed certificate of authenticity is supplied with this painting.

Feeding the ducks – what could be more natural? Well, a pair of naturists feeding the ducks perhaps?

I’m not really sure what the thinking was behind this painting. I was toying with the idea of skinny dippers for a while, then thought it would be nice to use an older couple for the main characters. The mallards, coots, butterflies, frog etc… just sort of invited themselves in.

Other nature lovers will be pleased to note that the responsible humans are feeding the ducks mealworms and not bread. No wildlife (imaginary or otherwise) was harmed in the making of this picture!
