A multimedia interactive exhibition space on the theme of the four seasons. Each room has its own interactive mechanics. In this project, I developed all the interactive solutions and installed the equipment. This exhibition was shown in Anapa and then in St. Petersburg.
A vibration sensor was attached to the strung ropes, connected to an electrical circuit with an Arduino. As soon as the visitor pulled the rope, the sensor was triggered, the signal went to Arudino, then to TouchDesigner. From the program TouchDesigner the signal was transmitted to Ableton with a midi command and the generative sound was reproduced.
In the second room, two mechanics were implemented: skeleton tracking and audio reactivity.
Using the Kinect camera, a human skeleton was modeled inside the Notch program. A generative scenario with an ice was created. In a concurrent moment, a midi room was sent from Notch to Ableton to create the audio accompaniment. Realized with Notch VFX and Ableton.
The microphones were used to turn on the fans and the lights. Ventilators lifted foam particles into the air to emulate a snowstorm. The action was accompanied by color changes and music. Realized with TouchDeisgner and Ableton.
Room with bamboo decorations with laser, and sky with LED strip.
The visitor touches the bamboo decoration, a vibration sensor is triggered and sends a signal to the programs. The action is accompanied by a melody and a thunder.
Generative content made in NotchVFX. Touch was detected using AirScan Lidar from Pandora Box. The touch was accompanied by graphics changes in the touch area and audio sampler.
