"Furyu" is a Japanese concept made up of two words - "wind 風" and "flow 流". It expresses a grace clearly perceptible and at the same time barely perceptible, an ephemeral beauty that cannot be expressed and described in words, it can only be felt in the present moment, because in the next second it will dissolve like the morning mist.
The installation consists of a few specially equipped floor fans. Inside each fan a directional light and an ultrasonic speaker are integrated. The directional light and sound travels around the room by rotating the axis of the fan tower.
This video is a demonstration of the operation of two fans. For a more complete understanding of sound operation, I recommend using a stereo audio output device.
This installation can be upgraded to add controlled switching of directional sound and fans only in people through tracking system. Also on the floor you can add a projection that will visualize the direction of sound.
