Dr. Danish Mahmood completed his PhD from COMSATS UNIVERSITY, Islamabad, (Former COMSATS INSTITUTE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) Pakistan in 2018. He is working as an Assistant Professor of computer science in department of computing at SHAHEED ZULFIQAR ALI BHUTTO INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Islamabad, Pakistan.

Dr. Danish Mahmood has published his work in prestigious journals and international conferences. Besides his own contribution, he has been reviewing research articles for a number of international journals and conferences. He received Research Productivity Award 2013, 2016 and 2017 at Pak China Business Forum 2014, 2016 and 2018 respectively from the platform of COMSATS University of Islamabad. Moreover, he is also board member/ exective director STYM Foundation.

Besides science, mighty Karakorum, Hinkukush and Himalayan mountain ranges fascinates him. His manuscript/ book named “Northern Pakistan, The Land of Exceptionals (An Overview)” got 2nd prize in the contest of National Book Foundation, Islamabad for the year 2009-2010. Several articles on his excursions are published in various literary and social journals of international repute. (i.e. Rabta (Karachi), Adbiyat (Islamabad), kitaab (National Book Foundation), Adab-e- Latif and many more). Moreover, a Directory/Guide book on Northern areas of Pakistan is at its final stage.
