Daniel Gerszon Mahler

Welcome to my site.

I am an Economist in the Development Data Group at the World Bank, where I am part of the Sustainable Development Statistics team and the team behind the Poverty and Inequality Platform. Prior to joining the World Bank, I was a visiting fellow at Harvard University’s Department of Government and worked for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

I do research on areas related to the measurement of poverty, inequality, well-being, and justice. You can find more information about my research on this site.
