I am a second year PhD student in Statistics and Operations Research at the University of Vienna under the supervision of Prof. Immanuel Bomze. I am an associated PhD student of the Vienna Graduate School of Computational Optimization (VGSCO). In parallel to my PhD, I am working full-time as an actuarial analyst at Zurich Insurance and taking exams in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from the Technical University of Vienna in order to become a fully qualified Actuary AVĂ–.

I hold a MSc in Mathematics (minor: Applied Mathematics) from the University of Vienna and a BSc in Mathematics (minor: Business and Economics) from the Technical University of Darmstadt.

My research focuses on studying methods for optimization under uncertainty (chance-contrained, robust, and distributionally robust optimization). I am also interested in machine learning algorithms and their applications in finance and insurance.
