My name is MacKenna Kusilek. I started dancing when I was 3 at SCVDA, then transferred to Helmer Dance Studio following COVID. In high school, I danced for 4 years on the St. Croix Central Dance Team and was named captain my senior year. Following graduation in 2022, I joined the University of Wisconsin - River Falls Dance Team. I danced on the team for two years before tearing my achilles. 

Following my injury, I made the decision to focus on my education to become an Elementary Teacher as well as my career as a dance teacher. Some of my favorite things to do outside of work and school are read, lift, and spend time with friends and family. 

One of my favorite parts of dance is getting to choreograph routines and see them come to life on stage. I am so grateful to be a part of the D.E. family and to share my love for dance.
