My name is Erika Bohmke. I was a dancer at Dance Explosion for 12 years and was on the New Richmond Dance Team for four years where I was captain my senior year. My sophomore year, I was awarded the title of All-State Dancer. While at Dance Explosion I danced all different styles of dance such as Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Poms, and Hip-Hop. After High School, I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and graduated in December of 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Mathematics. I followed my heart back to the west side of the state to teach eighth grade Math at Prescott Middle School from 2018-2021. This July I moved back to New Richmond and was able to land a job at New Richmond Middle School as the new Math Interventionist! I am so incredibly grateful to be back at Dance Explosion teaching and sharing my love for dance. This place is truly my home away from home.
