Dethatching (Power Raking):

    • Removal of dead grass from lawn
    • Can be performed with a rake or dethatching machine
    • Allows better access of fertilizer to grass roots
    • Decreased soil compaction to promote grass root growth
    • Done in early spring or late fall to reduce risk of lawn damage

Aerating:

    • Creates holes in lawn to reduce soil compaction

We use Belgard, Anchor and Bounty blocks, caps and edgers due to the superior quality and longevity that they provide over cheaper products. Cheaper materials tend to break down under Minnesota's freeze/thaw cycles.
