The Catacombs Discovery is a 3D Metroidvania style game, where you have to progress through areas, fighting enemies and unlocking new areas as you play through. Your progress saves, so you can return back to your save file at any point.

This is the Gameplay Walkthrough of my game. the tutorial area. It showcases Platforming used alongside Level Mechanics, such as Moving Platforms, Lowering Platforms and Levers. It guides the Player into Jumping & Slashing, which can be used against the Bush Tortoise Enemies. The actions the player does, such as unlocking a lever or a checkpoint save to the game, so if they complete the game and continue to their save, the progress will be saved.
This is the Trailer I created for the Catacombs Discovery Game. I'm pretty proud of how this turned out and I believe it shows my game off pretty well. It was completed over the span of 2 days, but I feel like I could've created something better with more time, as I'd be able to create a storyboard. However, it was good for the time I had.
I created the Trailer by using an Editing Software called VideoPad Video Editor, which I have prior experience using.
3rd March 2025 - 19th May 2025
This was the second project I had to create in the Second Year of my Games Design and Development Course. The Theme I was given was "Recent Game Trends". I chose the "Improvement of AI" for my game trend. We had around 4 weeks for Production Work.
Sadly, my game file corrupted which meant I had to redo all of my code & more. I had from the 13th - 28th May to redo it and add any improvements. Despite this setback, I believe that my game turned out pretty good.
