I am Head of Corporate Development @ Akronos Technologies Group, an international group of companies headquartered in Italy and active in the field of engineering consulting services.
As Head of Corporate Development, I am in charge of Corporate & M&A strategies, M&A transactions, and the International Development of the Group. I have also direct responsibility of the Group's activities in Greece, through the local company Akronos Technologies Hellas SA.
Since 2019, I am Visiting Professor of M&A Strategy at the Department of Business Economics of Aarhus University, Denmark, where I previously worked as Assistant Professor, doing research and lecturing in the field of strategic and innovation management, international business, and corporate finance.
I collaborate also with the Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) as external censor for MSc, BSc and Executive courses and final projects & theses.
I hold a PhD in Economics and Industrial Organization (2013) and a M.Sc. (with distinction) in Management Engineering (2008), both from the University of Bergamo. In 2012, I have been Visiting Researcher at the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University.
My research focuses on topics related to Mergers and Acquisitions, Strategic Management, Innovation Management, International Business, and Corporate Finance. My research has been published or is under review (R&Rs) in high ranked finance and management journals, such as Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Management Studies, Small Business Economics Journal, and Journal of Multinational Financial Management. I have been a finalist for the Technology Innovation Management (TIM) Division best paper in Strategic Management at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting (2015).
Besides research, I have extensive teaching experience from Aarhus University and the University of Bergamo. I have developed, lectured, planned, and coordinated M.Sc. and B.Sc. courses in the fields of managerial economics and accounting.

TEACHING PORTFOLIO
I have extensive teaching experience from Aarhus University and the University of Bergamo. I have taught, planned, coordinated, and organized lectures and seminars in the fields of financial accounting, business management, and industrial economics.
I have lectured and co-taught courses in international teams with more experienced, equal level, and younger colleagues. The working methods and the size of the classes varied from medium lectures (about 40 students) to big classes (about 200 students) and I have experience teaching both homogeneous and internationally diverse groups.
I have supervised more than thirty M.Sc. and B.Sc. theses and several Internship Reports.
