Damiaan Persyn

I am a researcher at the Thünen Institute, and associated with the University of Göttingen. My current research focusses on international trade, labour market rigidities, migration, and regional economics. I previously worked as a researcher for the European Commission in the Joint Research Centre in Sevilla, Spain, and at the University of Leuven, Belgium, where I also obtained my PhD in Economics and separate master degrees in Economics and Statistics. I did my undergraduate studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin and the KUBrussels. I speak Dutch, English, French, German and Spanish
