DALHOUSIE READING SOCIETY

The Dalhousie Reading Society was founded in 2023, and is your favourite campus-wide book club! 

Our society encourages all members to read the same book monthly and attend the end-of-month meeting to discuss the book. Each monthly book centers around a different theme or genre. 

Along with meetings, members can also participate in various outreach events held throughout the school year. Potential events include reading to kids, building a community bookshelf, and doing a book drive. Through this society, students at Dal can discuss their love of reading with their peers, make friends who share the same passion, and share that love of reading with the greater Halifax area. 

We want to create a fun environment for members to meet new people who share common interests, and create a safe space for booklovers to come together!
