Carer-led Workshop Days start Tuesday 2nd December!
To our good friends at Pokke Kotan. Hello and thank you for joining us! This is a secret, unlisted page that can only be seen by your shed and ours. Here you will find some short bios from some of our members who would love to hear from and learn more about you.
We're starting small with just three members but we hope to expand as time goes on.
Please use the personal contact details at the bottom of each profile to reach out and start a conversation. Feel free to send your message in either Japanese or English.
We can't wait to hear from you!
Likes: A walk in a forest!! This is one of my happy places . I will head into a forest with some food and coffee , a hammock, a pair of binoculars and a fold up saw.
While in the forest I watch out for wildlife and also any good branches that can be used for making walking sticks/ hiking staffs . I also keep an eye open for dead wood that I may then be able to season for firewood.
Dislikes: People with no manners and are loud and rude.
My favourite thing about the shed: Helping a member with a new project. Seeing them learn and gain confidence in what they are doing . Over time they get really happy doing their projects and passing on their skills.
A question for you: What is an achievement you are proud of?
