Police Launched a Search to Find the Villain for Attempted Kidnapping
The investigation was launched after an 18-year-old girl was reportedly tried by a man to aggressively pick her up in her car as she was driving home in Woodbridge for the weekend. The attempted kidnapping occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on Friday, April 14, in Colby's Drive District near Torrington Street. Police say things heated up when a teenage girl was walking down the street when she spotted a car following her and was confronted by a man sitting in her passenger seat. The man allegedly got out of his vehicle and approached her after she recognized him after several previous interactions over the past few weeks.
