Yasmine is the Chair of Libraries Serving Persons with Print Disabilities Section / International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (LPD/IFLA). She has served persons with disabilities in several roles throughout her career of 15 years: as a librarian and a trainer. She has taken part in several activities to advocate for the ratification/implementation of the Marrakesh Treaty both on an international and national level.
She is passionate about advocating for the right to read for persons with disabilities and eliminating all barriers to ensure their inclusion in the society.
