**Daily Saint Reflections does not collect your data.** Version 2.0 and later
contains no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking software of any kind.
Your journal entries never leave your device.

— if this page and that one ever disagree, that one is correct.
Effective for version 2.0 and later
Version 2.0 removed all advertising and analytics software from the app.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and no third-party
software development kits.
- No advertising identifier, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- No account, no sign-in, and no email address collected.
- Journal entries and reading history are stored only on your device. They are
not uploaded anywhere and the developer cannot read them.
- Daily reminders are scheduled by your iPhone. No push server is involved.
- All saint content ships inside the app, so reading the day's saint makes no
network request.

Versions 1.11 and earlier
Earlier releases of the app did include advertising and analytics software. If
you have not updated, this section describes the version you are running.
Those versions contained:
- **Google AdMob**, which displayed banner advertisements, together with
Google's User Messaging Platform, which presented the advertising consent
form to users in the European Economic Area.
- **Google Firebase Analytics**, which recorded how the app was used — how many
times it had been opened, which onboarding screens were viewed, and when the
subscription screen was shown.
- **Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt**, which asked permission to track
you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes.
- **Ad attribution** through Apple's SKAdNetwork, which reports app installs to
advertising networks in aggregate.
Between them, these collected device and advertising identifiers and app usage
data, along with the standard technical information analytics services gather
automatically, such as device model, operating system version, language, and
country.
Two clarifications, because the App Store privacy label for those versions was
broader than what the app actually did:
- **Location was never collected.** The app has never requested location
permission and has never contained any location-gathering code. Advertising
networks can estimate an approximate region from an internet address, as any
web server can, but no location was ever read from the device.
- **Journal entries were never collected.** Even in those versions, reflection
entries were stored only on the device and were never uploaded.
All of this was removed in version 2.0. Data gathered by those services under
earlier versions was held by Google under Google's own policies; it was never
sold, and the developer's access to it ended when the services were removed.
Updating to version 2.0 or later stops all of it.
## Purchases
Premium subscriptions are sold and processed entirely by Apple through the App
Store. The developer never sees your payment details and receives only
anonymous, aggregated sales totals. Family Sharing shares the purchase only —
never journal entries or any other app data.
## Children
The app is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, children included, so
there is no children's data to disclose, protect, or delete.
