SalahPro for iOS
Effective: 08/09/2026
Contact: agapps.inf01@gmail.com
This privacy policy applies to the SalahPro app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Ahmed Guedmioui (collectively, the "Application"). Ahmed Guedmioui is referred to here as the "Service Provider".
There is no account and no sign-in. The Service Provider does not operate a server that stores your personal data.
Your prayer history, streaks, name, age and settings are stored on your device.
Your location is sent to a third-party prayer-time service so it can calculate the times for your area.
The apps you choose to lock are handled by Apple's Screen Time framework and never leave your device. The Service Provider cannot see which apps you picked.
Free users see ads supplied by Google AdMob. Subscribers see none.
Information you provide
Your first name and age, if you enter them during onboarding.
Your prayer confirmations — whether you prayed or missed each prayer — which produce your streaks, calendar and progress charts.
The apps, categories and websites you choose to lock during prayer times.
Your settings: language, notification and adhan preferences, Fajr alarm, and your last reading position in the Qur'an.
All of the above is written to storage on your device. None of it is uploaded to a server operated by the Service Provider.
Information collected automatically
Location. With your permission, your device's location is used to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. See Section 2.
Device and connection data collected by third parties. The third-party services listed in Section 4 receive technical information inherent to any network request — such as your IP address, device type and operating system version — and, in the case of advertising, may receive device or advertising identifiers. See Section 5.
The Application asks for location permission so it can calculate accurate prayer times and the direction of the Qibla for where you are. If you decline, the Application still works, but it cannot calculate prayer times or the Qibla for your area.
Your coordinates are sent to AlAdhan, a third-party prayer-time service, which returns the prayer timetable for your area. See Section 4.
Your city name is resolved on your device using Apple's geocoder.
Your most recent coordinates, city name and the returned monthly timetables are cached on your device so the Application works offline.
You can grant or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings. Revoking it stops any further collection immediately.
The app-locking feature is built on Apple's Family Controls and Screen Time frameworks. When you choose which apps to lock, Apple hands the Application an opaque token rather than the names of the apps you selected.
That selection is stored in a shared container on your device, readable only by the Application and its own extensions.
It is never transmitted off your device, and the Service Provider has no way to see which apps or categories you chose.
Blocking is enforced entirely on your device by iOS. No usage data about the apps you open is collected or sent anywhere.
The Application relies on the services below. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles the data it receives.
AlAdhan — receives your coordinates and IP address, to calculate your prayer timetable. Privacy policy: https://aladhan.com
Islamic Network CDN — receives your IP address, to stream Qur'an recitation audio. Privacy policy: https://islamic.network
Google AdMob — receives your IP address and device and advertising identifiers, to serve ads to free users. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat — receives your purchase and subscription status and a pseudonymous app user ID, to manage subscriptions and restore purchases. Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
Apple — receives purchase data and Screen Time authorisation, to process payments and enforce app locks. Privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
The Service Provider may also disclose information: as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process; where they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; and to trusted service providers who work on their behalf, have no independent use of the information, and have agreed to the rules set out in this policy.
Ads are shown to users on the free tier only. If you hold an active subscription, no ad is requested or displayed anywhere in the Application.
Ads are supplied by Google AdMob, which may use device identifiers and Apple's SKAdNetwork to measure ad performance. You can limit ad tracking on iOS under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising. Where applicable law requires consent before non-essential tracking technologies are used, that consent will be requested before such technologies are enabled.
With your permission, the Application schedules local notifications for prayer times, reminders, and an optional Fajr alarm. These are scheduled and delivered by iOS on your device. No notification content is sent through a remote server. You can turn them off in the Application's settings or in iOS Settings.
Data on your device — your profile, prayer history, streaks, lock selection and settings — is kept until you delete it in the Application or uninstall the Application. Uninstalling removes it.
Data held by third parties is retained according to their own policies, linked in Section 4. The Service Provider does not control those retention periods.
Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you may be retained indefinitely.
Data required for legal compliance is retained for as long as applicable law requires.
Because your data is stored on your device rather than on a server operated by the Service Provider, you control it directly:
Access and correction — your profile, prayer history and settings are visible and editable inside the Application.
Deletion — uninstalling the Application deletes the data it stored on your device.
Withdrawing permission — location, notifications and Screen Time access can each be revoked at any time in iOS Settings, which stops further collection immediately.
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data held by the Service Provider or its third-party providers, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, contact agapps.inf01@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, contact agapps.inf01@gmail.com.
The third-party services listed in Section 4 may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, appropriate mechanisms are relied upon:
Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission;
adequacy decisions or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms;
your consent, where required and legally permitted.
Data protection laws in other countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
The Application is not directed to children under 16 years of age, or such higher age as applicable law requires. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age in violation of applicable law, and does not knowingly solicit data from children or market the Application to them.
Where parental or guardian consent is required under applicable law, the Application is not intended for use without it. If the Service Provider learns that a child has provided personal information, it will be deleted promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, contact agapps.inf01@gmail.com so the necessary steps can be taken.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information, and provides physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the information it processes and maintains. Because the Application keeps your data on your device, that data is also protected by your device's own passcode and encryption.
If a data breach occurs that affects your personal data, the Service Provider will notify you in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting the updated policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, consent will be sought for material changes before they take effect. Previous versions are kept and available on request at agapps.inf01@gmail.com.
Where processing is based on consent, you give that consent by affirmatively opting in to the relevant feature — granting location access, enabling notifications, or authorising Screen Time. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Processing based on other lawful bases is carried out as described above.
If you have questions about privacy while using the Application, or about the practices described here, email agapps.inf01@gmail.com.
