This Privacy Policy explains how DailyGym Note collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding any data generated while using the app.

Information We Collect

DailyGym Note is built with privacy as a core principle. All workout data is stored locally on your device using the Hive local database.
We do not collect, transmit, or store personal information on external servers.

Local Data Storage

The following data may be stored locally on your device:

• Workout details (exercise names, sets, reps, weights, training duration)

• Workout dates and timestamps

• Mood ratings associated with training sessions

• App preferences (e.g. dark mode)

• Custom exercises and workout configurations created by you

This data remains exclusively on your device and is never shared with our servers or third-party services.
You retain full control and may delete this data at any time by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

Permissions

DailyGym Note requests limited permissions strictly for functionality:

• Storage Permission
  Used to save and retrieve local workout data via the Hive database.

• Internet Permission
  Required only for displaying optional in-app donation options and opening the Privacy Policy via WebView.

These permissions are not used to collect or transmit your workout data. Internet access does not affect core workout tracking features.

In-App Purchases

DailyGym Note offers optional in-app donations to support development.
All transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing.

We do not collect, store, or access payment details. Payment handling and security are governed by Google Play’s own privacy policy and terms.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates only with Google Play’s in-app purchase system for donation functionality.

• No workout or personal data is shared with Google or other third parties

• Only transaction-related data required for donation processing is handled by Google Play

Data Security

Workout data is stored locally using Hive, a secure local database solution.
We apply standard security practices to protect data integrity. However, because data resides on your device, we recommend enabling device-level security features such as screen locks and system encryption.

Children’s Privacy

DailyGym Note does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
If such data is discovered, it will be deleted promptly.

Data Retention & Deletion

All data remains on your device until you choose to delete it. You may:

• Delete individual workouts within the app

• Clear all data via device settings

• Permanently remove all data by uninstalling the app

We do not retain any copies on external servers.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Updates will be reflected by changing the Effective Date at the top of this document. Continued use of the app signifies acceptance of the revised policy.

Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally, you have complete control. You may:

• Access all workout data within the app

• Edit or delete records at any time

• Export data through device backups

• Permanently erase all data by uninstalling or clearing app data
