DailyEmoji Privacy Policy

DailyEmoji is a personal daily mood journal. This Privacy Policy explains how DailyEmoji handles information when you use the app.

1. Information stored by the app

DailyEmoji lets you enter a nickname, select a mood, and write a journal entry. This information is stored only in the DailyEmoji database on your device. DailyEmoji does not transmit these entries, moods, nicknames, or other journal information to the developer or to a server.

2. Data collection, sharing, and selling

DailyEmoji does not collect user data from your device. It does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting services, accounts, cloud backup, or tracking technologies. The developer does not receive, share, or sell your journal information.

3. Optional sharing

When you choose the Share button, DailyEmoji creates an image of the selected mood card in the app's temporary cache and opens the Android system share sheet. The image is sent only to the app or service that you choose. This is a user-initiated action; DailyEmoji does not receive or track information from the recipient. The privacy practices of the destination app or service are governed by its own policy.

4. Data retention and deletion

DailyEmoji has no user accounts and the developer retains no journal data. You can delete all locally stored DailyEmoji data from the app's Settings page or by uninstalling the app. Images you have intentionally shared may remain with the app or service you selected and should be managed there.

5. Security

Your journal data is stored in the app's private storage area on your device and is protected by Android's application sandbox. No method of electronic storage is completely secure; please protect access to your device with the security controls available to you.

6. Children

DailyEmoji is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children because it does not collect or transmit user data.

7. Changes to this policy

If DailyEmoji's data practices change, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when the change takes effect. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
