CloudMood is a personal mood tracking and journaling application developed by Nguyen Ngoc Huyen.

The App allows you to record daily moods, write journal entries, attach images and audio recordings, organize personal journeys, and save important life events such as birthdays, graduations, salary days, trips, anniversaries, and other memorable milestones.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains:

• Where your data is stored

By using CloudMood, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When using CloudMood, you may create and store:

• Journal entries

• Attached images

• Audio recordings

• Notes and content within personal journeys

• Personal events such as birthdays, graduations, salary days, trips, anniversaries, and other important milestones

All of this content remains under your control.

2.2 Information from Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive only the following basic profile information:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your Google profile picture

We do not receive:

• Your Google password

• Access to your Gmail

• Access to files in your Google Drive outside the App's backup folder

• Any other data from your Google account

2.3 Device Permissions

CloudMood may request the following permissions:

• Display insights visible only to you

Authentication

• Maintain your Google sign-in session

Backup and Restore

• Save and restore your data using your personal Google Drive

We do not:

• Sell your personal data

• Share your journal content for marketing purposes

• Use your data for advertising

• Build advertising profiles

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

By default, all personal data is stored locally on your device, including:

• Mood logs

• Journal entries

• Images

• Audio recordings

• Personal events

Local data is protected using encrypted storage (expo-secure-store).

4.2 Google Drive Backup (Optional)

If you enable backup:

• Data is uploaded to a dedicated folder in your own Google Drive account

• We access this folder only with your explicit permission

• We do not store copies on our servers

• We cannot view or access your personal journal content

• You may delete the backup folder at any time

4.3 No Backend Server

CloudMood does not operate its own backend server or database.

Your journals, moods, images, audio recordings, and personal events are never uploaded to our infrastructure.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information is shared only in the following situations:

Google Sign-In

Authentication is provided by Google and governed by:

Google Drive API

Backup data is transmitted directly to Google under your account and governed by:

• Google Terms of Service

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

6. Children's Privacy

CloudMood is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete such information.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted local storage

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for communications with Google services

• Optional PIN lock within the App

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You retain full control over your personal data.

You may:

• Delete all local data by uninstalling the App

• Delete backup data from your Google Drive

• Revoke Google access at Google Account Permissions

• Disable automatic backup at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When updates are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this document will be revised.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
