Hi, thank you for visiting Daiki Watarai's website!

I'm a postdoctoral researcher at Research Center for the Early Universe (RESCEU), the University of Tokyo. My research field is gravitational-wave physics, especially data analysis and theory.

I'm from Mie Prefecture, Japan, where I lived until entering Kyoto University in 2018. After earning my bachelor's degree there, I moved to the University of Tokyo in 2021 and obtained a master's degree in 2023 and a Ph.D. in 2026.
