Files and local processing
FileKit compresses, resizes, converts and joins images, creates PDFs from images, renders PDF pages as images, and packages results into ZIP files. Photos, PDFs and their contents are processed on your device. FileKit does not upload them to dadamsoft or an application conversion server. The app has no account system and no first-party backend.
You select files through Android’s system picker or send them from another app. FileKit does not request broad photo-library access. A cloud storage provider may use the internet when it retrieves a file you select. Original files are preserved. Output images remove location and other metadata; HDR may be converted to SDR.
Advertising and consent
FileKit uses Google Mobile Ads SDK 25.5.0 for banner, app-open and export interstitial advertisements, and Google’s User Messaging Platform for consent and privacy choices. Where applicable, the app requests consent before requesting eligible ads. Settings includes Ad privacy options to reopen the available privacy form. When consent or ads are unavailable, file processing and export still work.
Google’s advertising SDK may collect and share approximate location inferred from IP address, app and advertisement interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and device or account identifiers such as the advertising ID and app set ID. These data support advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. They are separate from the image and PDF contents processed by FileKit. Data sent by the advertising SDK are encrypted in transit using TLS. Non-personalized or limited ads may still involve some processing of device or network data.
Google’s policy and controls: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://myadcenter.google.com/. You may reset or delete the advertising ID through Android settings. Consent choices and local ad-frequency counters are stored on the device. Google may process advertising data internationally under its policies and safeguards.
Saving and sharing
Saving writes the selected results to Pictures/FileKit or Download/FileKit. Sharing or exporting ZIP files transfers only the results you choose to the app or recipient you select. Their handling is governed by that destination’s own practices. dadamsoft does not sell your original photos, PDF contents or local task data.
Retention and deletion
FileKit keeps imported working copies, generated results, options, progress and errors in private task history. Delete a task from the home screen to remove its internal working copies and results. Clear app storage or uninstall FileKit to remove remaining private app data. These actions do not delete your originals or copies already saved or shared; manage those in your gallery, Files app or chosen destination. Android app backup is disabled. Google handles advertising-data retention and deletion under its own policies and controls; dadamsoft cannot promise deletion from Google’s systems. There is no account to delete.
Security
Local files use Android application storage protections. The app processes files with memory and size limits and renders PDFs in an isolated process. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. FileKit does not operate a remote file-storage service.
Children
FileKit is a general-purpose utility intended for adults aged 18 and older, and is not directed to children or teens. It has no first-party account or service collecting children’s personal information. Contact us if you have a concern about a child’s use.
