Monoprice Desktop Amplifier

The Monoprice Desktop Amplifier is more or less an exact copy of the now discontinued FiiO E09K. The only difference being that the Monoprice unit has an internal DAC whereas FiiO's amplifier had a docking bay for suitable FiiO DACs. For surprisingly low cost you get a good amount of power out of the Monoprice Amplifier and very good connectivity in form of RCA line and pre output as well as AUX in.

When should you get this?

You only own high impedance headphones (80+ Ohm) and you variable pre output for your powered speakers.
