FX Audio DAC X6

Review by

The DAC X6 is the DAC/Amp to get when you want maximum output power for the minimum amount of money. It pushes enough juice to drive demanding dynamic and entry-level orthodynamic headphones and comes with a surprisingly good set of input options and line output. Users with low impedance headphones under 80 Ohm should go for the FiiO E10K instead and if you have powered monitor speakers, which should be fed by a pre-out, go for the Monoprice Desktop Amplifier.

When should you get this?

You are looking for an E10K alternative and want S/PDIF input; you also don't have low impedance headphones.
