I am a PhD student under Kay Rülling in the Algebra and Number Theory group at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal. I am also a member of the Research Training Group GRK 2240. Before this, I obtained my bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics at the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen. I also spent a year at the Uppsala Universitet through the Erasmus exchange program.
I am currently doing research in the area of algebraic geometry. At the moment I am working on the construction of an Albanese variety with modulus in positive characteristic. Besides research I enjoy teaching, giving talks and having interesting discussions about both mathematical and non-mathematical topics.
Whenever I am not doing mathematics I am most likely doing sport (e.g. curling, table tennis, fitness), playing some video games or going for a nice walk outside. Even though I am currently not keeping any of my own, you will often find me around cats.
If you would like to get in touch, feel free to do so.
