Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (KJV)
As you will see in Jeff Benner’s (who is not a Unitarian, but just a Hebrew teacher) video that this verse doesn’t work as it is being translated. We must remember that all English Bible translations are being translated mostly by Christians and all of them are Trinitarians.
The way that Jeff Benner would translate this verse would be
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonder of Yo’eyts, Mighty one of Gibor, Father of Ad, Ruler of Shalom.
Yo’eyts (Counselor)
Gibor (warrior)
Ad (again/until)
Shalom (peace)
