Description: Santiago is a man of average build with a simple desire to be free. He is rather unremarkable outside of his leadership qualities. He simply wishes to be free alongside his fellow gang members and will consistently check up on his fellow members contracts. He has a tattoo of a tree along his left calf. A Grey Jay rests on its branches.
Background: Santiago came from Tijuana. Their mother held an American citizenship which allowed Santiago to slip back and forth between the border. He often led groups of people. Starting the original group that was loosely known.
Criminal Charges: Santiago was part of a gang that was caught in an attempted robbery targeting one of the largest banks in the country. They were boxed in by the local police and swat teams. Wanting to make a name for himself within the gang, one of the fellow gang members began executing civilians. This caused Santiago and fellow gang members to turn on the rogue member and incapacitate them. Following their surrender knowing they were not going to make it out alive. The decision was made to charge them all with the death penalty. It was one of the most brutal crimes within the 21st century. And the public was not happy with them. While awaiting the transfer to a Max Security some men in suits pulled them each into a room. Offering them the standard deal the foundation extends to Death Row Inmates. 30 days of work, then freedom. It was an obvious choice. They all took it.
