I am currently working as a Research Fellow for the Origins Project at the University of Bologna. You can find more details of our project here!
I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Padova in September 2024. I defended my thesis on March 2025.
My research interests are in an intersection of economic history, political economy, and development economics. In particular, I work on topics such as intergenerational mobility in colonial India, industrial policy and trade shocks in India and Japan, and the role of women labour on long-run development.
