Cyber Expert is committed to protecting user privacy. This policy explains how our app handles data transparently and securely.

1. Data Storage

All data, including scan history, app lists, and local settings, is stored locally on your device's internal storage. We do not operate a central server, and we do not collect, upload, or share your personal information.

2. Core Permissions and Their Use

MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to scan for APK files in system folders (Downloads, Telegram, etc.) to detect potential security threats.

•

Accessibility Service: Used exclusively to monitor the system's package installer. This allows the app to automatically detect and cancel the installation of unauthorized or high-risk APK files from unknown sources.

•

Notifications: Used to provide instant security alerts when a threat is detected.

3. Third-Party Services

The app offers an optional VirusTotal check. If you explicitly provide your own API key in the settings, only the file hash (SHA-256) is sent to VirusTotal for analysis. No actual files or personal data are ever uploaded.

4. No Ads or Tracking

Cyber Expert is a clean security tool. It does not contain any advertisements, analytics SDKs, or user behavior tracking systems.

5. Why We Request These Permissions

Background Service: Necessary to provide 24/7 real-time protection.

•

Internet Access: Used only for the optional VirusTotal check if an API key is provided.

•

Request Ignore Battery Optimizations: Needed to ensure the security service isn't killed by the system in the background.

6. Deleting Your Data

Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app or clearing its data from system settings will permanently and irreversibly delete all your scan history and settings.
