Red Wine Recommendations
Casillero del Diablo
Co-Founder Adam Juarez is a rabid supporter of Manchester United Football Club. Casillero del Diablo is the official wine of Manchester United. For $8-15 a bottle, the quality and price is hard to beat. Explore the website and read the origin story behind the label's name.
Tioga-Sequoia - Fresno, CA
The Tioga-Sequoia tasting room in Downtown Fresno was the site of the very first #CVTechTalk IRL Hangout in December 2016. 99 Golden Ale, General Sherman IPA and Half Dome CA Wheat Ale are a staple in #CVTechTalk Facebook Live broadcasts.
During CUE 2017 in Palm Springs, the Betty IPA was flowing at the #CVTechTalk IRL Hangout at the Village Pub. It quickly became a Tribe favorite
Spike and Rail
Spike and Rail Restaurant is a #cvtechtalk favorite. Centrally located just off Freeway 99 in Selma, CA, it has been the site of two IRL Hangouts as well as the 1st Anniversary celebration. The tri-tip sandwiches are great. There is a good selection of drinks. The prices are very reasonable.
The Republic of Texas
Down the street from the Henry Gonzalez Convention Center, on the famous San Antonio Riverwalk, lies The Republic of Texas Restaurant. Sink your teeth into some authentic Texas BBQ Brisket and quench your thirst with a variety of local beers. This establishment was the site of the #ISTE17 #cvtechtalk IRL Hangout.
This Reedley, CA "hole in the wall" gives you a true, authentic taste of Mexico. The prices cannot be beat. The quality and authenticity are unmatched. The burritos are gigantic, the salsa is spicy, the Menudo is on point and the tacos are legendary. Mexicanos, Gringos and everything in between love Ortega's Taqueria.
The Village Pub in Palm Springs is a CUE go-to! It was the sight of the #CUE17 #cvtechtalk IRL Hangout. It has two stories and a bar on each level. It is a great place to gather for food, drinks and fellowship. The Village Pub was where we first discovered, and fell in love with, the Betty IPA by Hangar 24.
