About me

Let me begin by telling you how excited and honored I am to be your teacher. I have taught Kindergarten through Seniors in high school.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of La Verne with a BA in English Literature. I did my graduate work at Mount Saint Mary's University where I received my CA teaching credential.

My theatre training includes years of study in Los Angeles, Hollywood, and San Diego in acting, camera & film work, Shakespeare, voice, commercial, and musical theatre. I completed a two-year comprehensive study in Meisner and Chekhov methods at MCIT, and was a member of a classical theatre company in Los Angeles.

I have acted since childhood and am an active member of San Diego's theatre and film communities. I have credits in stage, film, television and web productions. Don't ask me to pick my favorite, because I love it all. Every character, every production are all such a gift. I'm so privileged to be able to share my love of theatre with you. I hope that you will discover a passion for acting or production & design for yourself. There is no better way to learn about humanity and working together than being a part of a show from the ground up. It's hard work, but so entirely worth it.

I'm married to an Englishman and we have two wonderful teenagers and two very spoiled dogs. When I am not acting or teaching (!) I love camping in our motorhome with my family, paddle boarding SUP, traveling, cooking/eating, playing board games, watching movies, and of course, going to the theatre!
