Resume Builder App – CV Maker
Effective Date: October 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Resume Builder App – CV Maker (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), published by Orbitex Solutions, handles information when you use the App. We designed the App to keep your resumes and personal documents on your device. No account or sign-in is required, and the App does not display advertisements.
1. Summary
No account or sign-in is required.
Your resumes, cover letters, photos, and signatures are stored on your device.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
The App does not display advertisements or collect advertising IDs.
Anonymous usage statistics are collected through Firebase Analytics to improve the App. You can turn analytics off in Settings.
Your resume and cover-letter content is not included in analytics events.
Optional online AI features send task-related text to Google’s Gemini service. Email addresses, phone numbers, and web links are replaced with placeholders before transmission.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Information you enter into the App is saved in the App’s private storage on your device. This may include:
Your name, job title, and contact details.
Employment history, education, skills, and professional summary.
Cover letters and other text you create.
Your profile photo and signature.
We do not have access to this locally stored information, and it is not uploaded to a server operated by us. The App does not back up this data to our cloud.
PDFs and Images
PDFs you create are saved on your device in Documents/ResumeBuilder by default. Depending on your settings and Android version, you may choose Download/ResumeBuilder or another folder using Android’s folder picker.
Images created with PDF Tools are saved in Pictures/ResumeBuilder unless you select another location.
Files you save outside the App’s private storage remain under your control. Other apps may access them when you choose to open or share them.
3. Optional Online AI Features
The App can use Google Gemini through Google Firebase AI Logic for selected features, including:
Writing or improving resume text.
Generating a resume from your notes.
Writing cover letters.
Organising an imported resume.
Translating resume content.
These features operate only when online AI is enabled in the App and your device has an internet connection. You are asked before first use, and you can disable online AI at any time in Settings.
What Information Is Sent?
Only the text needed to perform the task you request is sent. This may include notes you enter, a section you want to improve, a job description you paste, or resume text you ask the App to translate or organise.
Privacy protection: Before transmission, the App replaces email addresses, phone numbers, and web links with placeholders and restores them on your device afterward.
What Is Not Sent?
Your profile photo.
Your signature.
Your saved files as file attachments.
Google’s Processing and Privacy Policies
Google processes submitted text to provide the requested AI result under its applicable terms and privacy policies. Depending on the Gemini service and plan used, Google may use submitted content to provide and improve its services.
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Firebase Terms: https://firebase.google.com/terms
Firebase App Check may also use Google Play Integrity to help verify that requests originate from a genuine installation of the App. This may involve technical app and device-integrity information processed by Google.
Offline Writing Assistant
When online AI is disabled, the built-in offline writing assistant, Smart Assist, works on your device. Resume translation requires online AI.
4. Anonymous Usage Analytics
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how features are used and improve the user experience. Analytics may collect:
Which screens are opened and which features are used, such as creating a resume, exporting a PDF, or selecting a template.
Simple event labels, such as a template name or whether Smart Assist or online AI was used.
Technical information, including app version, device model, Android version, country derived from IP address, and an app-instance identifier.
Analytics events are not intended to include your name, contact details, resume text, cover-letter text, photos, or saved files. Advertising ID collection and ad personalisation are turned off.
You can disable usage statistics at any time by going to Settings > Privacy > Usage statistics in the App.
Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy. Analytics retention follows the configured Firebase Analytics retention settings, which may be up to 14 months by default.

We do not keep copies of text submitted through the App’s online AI features on servers operated by us. Information processed by Google is subject to Google’s applicable policies and retention practices.
