This Privacy Policy explains how Curve Finance (“Curve Finance,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you install, access, or use the App.
We are committed to protecting user privacy and handling information responsibly. This Policy describes the categories of information involved in the App’s operation, the purposes for which information is used, the circumstances in which information may be disclosed, and the choices available to users.
This Policy applies to the Curve Finance mobile application, its associated online services, and communications submitted through our official support channels.
This Policy does not govern independent websites, blockchain networks, decentralized applications, protocols, exchanges, or third-party services that may be accessed through or used in connection with the App. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Depending on how the App is used, Curve Finance may process the following categories of information.
The App may process information that is already publicly available on blockchain networks, including:
Public wallet addresses
Blockchain network selections
Public account balances
Token holdings
Public transaction history
Transaction identifiers
Smart-contract interactions
Network fees
Public staking or delegation information where supported
Blockchain records are generally public, permanent, and independently maintained by distributed network participants.
When a user prepares or submits a transaction, the App may process:
Sender and recipient public addresses
Selected blockchain network
Asset type and amount
Estimated and final network fees
Transaction status
Transaction identifier
Smart-contract address and call information
Swap quotation, route, price impact, minimum received amount, and related execution details
This information is used to display transaction details, obtain quotations, prepare user-requested operations, submit authorized transactions, and show their status.
The App and its supporting services may process limited technical information needed for reliable operation, security, and troubleshooting, such as:
Device platform
Operating-system version
Application version
Preferred language
Network availability
Request timestamps
Service response status
Error category
Performance and reliability information
Random request identifiers used to prevent duplicate processing
We do not intentionally collect precise location, contact lists, photographs, microphone recordings, call history, text messages, or advertising identifiers unless the App is changed to require such information and this Policy is updated accordingly.
If a user contacts us, we may receive:
Email address
Name or display name voluntarily provided by the user
The content of the support request
Screenshots or files voluntarily attached by the user
Technical details supplied to help diagnose the reported issue
Users should not include confidential wallet credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information in support communications.
Information may be processed for the following purposes:
Providing the App’s wallet functionality
Displaying public addresses, balances, assets, and transaction history
Retrieving blockchain and market information
Preparing and submitting user-authorized transactions
Providing swap quotations and execution routes
Calculating estimated network fees
Monitoring transaction status
Preventing duplicate operations
Detecting errors, abuse, and security threats
Maintaining service availability and performance
Responding to support and privacy requests
Enforcing applicable terms
Complying with legal obligations
Protecting users, the App, and the public
We do not sell personal information.
The current version of Curve Finance does not display third-party advertisements or use information for behavioral advertising.
Some App functionality is performed directly on the user’s device. Local application information may remain on the device until it is removed through the App, cleared through device settings, or deleted when the App is uninstalled.
The operating system, device manufacturer, application marketplace, and device-level services may independently process technical information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their devices and for using appropriate device security controls, including a strong passcode and supported biometric protections.
The App communicates with blockchain networks and service providers to deliver requested functionality.
Public wallet addresses, network selections, transaction data, and technical requests may be transmitted to:
Blockchain node and RPC providers
Market and pricing data providers
Swap quotation and routing providers
Token and asset metadata providers
Hosting, networking, and infrastructure providers
Security and availability services
These providers may independently process network information, including an IP address and request metadata, according to their own privacy policies.
We select service providers based on operational, technical, and security requirements. We do not control decentralized blockchain networks and the independent actions of network participants.
We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances.
Information may be processed by contracted providers that support the operation, security, networking, maintenance, or delivery of the App.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, prevent abuse, address security incidents, protect legal rights, or protect the safety of users and others.
If the ownership or operation of the App changes through a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or sale of assets, relevant information may be transferred subject to applicable law and appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not sell or rent personal information to data brokers or advertisers.
Transactions submitted to a public blockchain may be permanently visible to anyone. Public blockchain records may include wallet addresses, asset amounts, transaction identifiers, smart-contract interactions, and timestamps.
We do not own or control public blockchain networks and generally cannot modify, conceal, reverse, or delete information recorded on them.
Users should understand the public and permanent nature of blockchain transactions before approving any operation.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information involved in the App’s operation.
These measures may include:
HTTPS/TLS for supported network communication
Restricted access to operational systems
Authentication and authorization controls
Input and request validation
Duplicate-request protection
Monitoring for service failures and abuse
Secure software-development and dependency-review practices
Platform security features provided by supported operating systems
No electronic system, network, application, or storage method can guarantee absolute security. Users should independently verify addresses, networks, amounts, fees, and transaction details before approving an operation.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:
Providing requested functionality
Maintaining operational integrity
Responding to support requests
Preventing fraud and abuse
Resolving disputes
Enforcing agreements
Meeting legal and regulatory obligations
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, its purpose, technical requirements, and applicable law.
Public blockchain information remains subject to the rules and technical properties of the relevant blockchain and cannot generally be deleted by us.
Users may request deletion of eligible information held in systems under our control by contacting:
Email: <SUPPORT_EMAIL>
A request should provide sufficient non-confidential information to identify the relevant interaction or support record. We may request reasonable verification before processing a request.
Eligible information will be deleted within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations, fraud-prevention requirements, dispute resolution, security needs, and technical limitations.
Information recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted or altered by us.
Users may:
Choose which supported networks and features to use
Decline to submit a transaction
Review transaction details before approval
Stop using the App
Clear local App information through supported device settings
Uninstall the App
Contact us with a privacy or deletion request
Disabling network access may prevent balances, prices, quotations, transactions, and other online functionality from operating correctly.
The App and its providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence.
Where required by applicable law, reasonable safeguards are used for international information processing and transfers.
Curve Finance is not directed to children.
Users must meet the minimum legal age requirements that apply in their jurisdiction and any age requirements imposed by the applicable application marketplace.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through an official support channel, contact us so that the matter can be reviewed.
The App may display links or provide access to independent websites, blockchain explorers, protocols, decentralized applications, or other services.
We are not responsible for the privacy, security, availability, accuracy, or content of independent third-party services. Users should review the terms and privacy policies of those services before using them.
Digital assets may be volatile. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, and network congestion, smart-contract behavior, market conditions, service interruptions, or user error may result in loss.
Nothing in this Policy constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its functionality, service providers, legal obligations, or information practices change.
The revised Policy will be published at the same public URL with an updated effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App or another appropriate channel where required.
