Cupbearer Project (“the Developer”) respects the privacy of users of PUBLIC PLAYER and PUBLIC PLAYER Remote (“the Apps”).

Collection of Personal Information

The Apps do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, postal address, location, contacts, or browsing history for use by the Developer.

The Developer does not track users for advertising purposes or sell collected user information to third parties.

Music Files and Library Information

PUBLIC PLAYER accesses music files stored locally by the user and their metadata, such as song titles, artist names, album names, and artwork, in order to organize and play the user’s music library.

Information created or managed by the Apps, such as playlists, ratings, playback-related information, and application settings, is used on the user’s devices to provide the Apps’ functionality.

The Developer does not collect these music files or library information or upload them to the Developer’s servers.

PUBLIC PLAYER Remote

PUBLIC PLAYER Remote communicates with PUBLIC PLAYER running on a Mac over the same local network so that PUBLIC PLAYER can be controlled from an iPhone or iPad.

Information necessary for remote-control functionality, including song information, artwork, playback status, playlists, and settings, may be transmitted between the devices.

This information is used solely to provide communication between PUBLIC PLAYER and PUBLIC PLAYER Remote and is not transmitted to the Developer’s servers.

Local Network

PUBLIC PLAYER and PUBLIC PLAYER Remote may use access to the local network to discover devices and communicate with each other.

In-App Purchases

When purchasing features within the Apps, transactions are processed through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit.

The Developer does not directly receive or store payment information such as credit card numbers.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

Because the Developer does not collect personal information through the Apps, the Developer does not sell or provide such personal information to third parties.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the Apps, applicable laws, or related services. If significant changes are made, this page will be updated accordingly.
